Zum 01.10.2024 bieten wir an unserem Standort in Karlsruhe einen dualen Studienplatz als Bachelor of Science mit der Studienrichtung medizinische Informatik an.
Was erwartet dich?
- Du bekommst ein dreijähriges Studium an der DHBW Karlsruhe mit dem Abschluss Bachelor of Science – Medizinische Informatik
- Du hast wechselnde Theorie- und Praxisphasen in einem etwa 12-wöchigen Rhythmus
- Du erfährst deine praktische Ausbildung in den IT-Bereichen Softwareentwicklung, Systemadministration, Service und Support
- Du erhältst eine theoretische Ausbildung u.a. in den Bereichen Softwareengineering, Mathematik, theoretische sowie technische Informatik, Datenbanken, Programmieren, Kommunikations- und Netztechnik, medizinische Informatik
- Du lernst IT-Prozesse sowie selbstständige Bearbeitung aktueller IT-Aufgaben

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du verfügst über eine gute allgemeine oder fachgebundene Hochschulreife, oder Fachhochschulreife sowie über erste praktische Erfahrungen im IT-Bereich
- Du zeichnest dich durch dein Verantwortungsbewusstsein, deine Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit und dein Engagement aus
- Du besitzt sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (min. C1-Level)
- Du bist naturwissenschaftlich interessiert, analysierst und kombinierst gerne und bist

About the company
Wir entwickeln, vertreiben und betreuen Auftragsdatenerfassungssysteme, die bundesweit in medizinischen Laboratorien zum Einsatz kommen. Das Portfolio besteht zur Zeit aus zwei Produkten, die sich sowohl einzeln als auch in Kombination miteinander nutzen lassen. Das klassische Produkt ist ein Auftragsdatenerfassungssystem mit einer integrierten Formularlesung zur automatisierten Auswertung von Anforderungsformularen mittels Algorithmen der Bildverarbeitung und Mustererkennung. Mit der optionalen Erweiterung um einen allgemeinen Datenimport von elektronischen Auftragsquellen und eine maschinelle und manuelle Probendatenerfassung und -vorverteilung lassen sich die präanalytischen Prozesse im Labor vollständig abbilden und optimieren. Das zweite und jüngere Produkt, ist ein web-basiertes Kundenportal, über das Laboratorien ihren Einsendern labordiagnostische Dienstleistungen anbieten können.

How do I get news about my application?
In your application overview at Workwise you have an overview of the application progress at any time. Additionally, we send you emails about the most important status changes.
Can I send several applications at once?
The number of your applications is not limited. An overview of your applications can be found at Workwise.
Can other companies see where else I have applied?
Can I also contact the company's contact person directly?
Personal contact is possible via chat as soon as you have been invited for an interview. Before that, you will receive all important status changes by e-mail. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal Candidate Manager:in from Workwise.
I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
What do I have to consider if German is not my mother tongue?
Please take into account the job’s language requirements and make sure the requirements match your skills.
