- You are responsible for developing LanguageTool’s apps, mainly for macOS, but also for iOS

What do we offer you?
- You won’t be developing another standard Mac App. LanguageTool for Desktop utilizes the accessibility APIs of macOS to interface with third-party apps like Outlook and Apple mail to check texts and display errors as tightly integrated as possible.
- You will work in a small and flexible team that values your ideas and opinions. We want this to be your product. Feel free to own it!
- You can either work in our office in Potsdam or Hamburg or from home with the opportunity to visit the office whenever you want
- You will work on a product that helps millions of users every day to improve their written communication

Whom we're looking for:
- You have worked with UIKit, AppKit and (above all) SwiftUI and Combine
- You are an Intermediate or Senior Swift Developer with at least three years of experience in building Apps for macOS and iOS
- You are fluent in English
- It’s a plus if you know how to publish and promote apps in the App Store
- You are product-oriented, combining thoughtfulness with pragmatism and a strong will to get stuff done
- You value an open and honest culture that’s always about the user first
- You are open to new challenges every day and never afraid of getting your hands dirty to contribute to our users’ success
- Ideally, you have experience with macOS’s accessibility APIs

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate.
