Für unser Partnerunternehmen - ein innovativer Software Hersteller aus Böblingen - suchen wir ab Oktober 2023 motivierte Teilnehmer*innen für den Master "Professional Software Engineering (M.Sc.)" in Kombination mit dem Jobeinstieg als Backend Webentwickler (m/w/d).
Das Studium bietet dir die Möglichkeit, deinen Master of Science zu machen, praktische Erfahrungen in einem Unternehmen zu sammeln und dabei Geld zu verdienen!
Als eine Symbiose aus „Softwareentwicklung als Handwerkskunst“ und dem neuen Software-Paradigma „Cloud-Native“ vermittelt dir das Programm neben modernen Methoden der Softwareentwicklung und zukunftsweisenden Cloud-Architekturen auch wichtige Softskills, Customer Centricity und Lean Software Development in hybrider Form.
Was erwartet dich?
Studium:
- 3 Semester berufsbegleitendes Studium plus 6 Monate Masterthesis
- Theoriephasen in Blockseminaren am Herman Hollerith Zentrum in Böblingen
- Praxisbezogene Lehre durch Professor:innen der Fakultät Informatik der Hochschule Reutlingen sowie renommierte Expert:innen aus der Praxis
- Eine tolle (Lern-) Atmosphäre in kleinen Gruppen
Folgende Aufgaben kommen hierbei in deinem Partnerunternehmen unter anderem auf dich zu:
- Du arbeitest mit bei der Umsetzung anspruchsvoller Kundenprojekte
- Du entwickelst Lösungen für spezielle Kundenanforderungen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projektmanagement und dem Kunden
- Du erweiterst, wartest und dokumentierst bestehende Softwaremodule
- Du entwickelst vorrangig in Backend Technologien wie Oracle Database und C++
- Du wirkst mit bei der Konzipierung und Umsetzung neuer Anforderungen mit

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium in (Wirtschafts-) Informatik oder einem anderen Studiengang mit Informatikanteilen von mind. 45 ECTS
- Nachgewiesene Englischkenntnisse Niveau B2 und ggf. nachgewiesene Deutschkenntnisse Niveau C1 gemäß der Sprachensatzung der Hochschule Reutlingen
- Du arbeitest eigenverantwortlich und teamorientiert
- Ein analytisches Vorgehen sowie Freude und Ausdauer bei der Konzeption kreativer Problemlösungen zeichnen dich aus
- Du verfügst über eine lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise ein ausgeprägtes Organisationstalent
- Du wendest gerne Programmiersprachen an

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
What do I have to consider if German is not my mother tongue?
Please take into account the job’s language requirements and make sure the requirements match your skills.
