R&D Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- You will research and document relevant technologies and topics related to spatial computing for our development environment
- You will be responsible for creating proof-of-concept prototypes and other code-based artifacts which may be necessary to support a research assignment (e.g. code libraries, APIs, Jupyter Notebooks, etc.)
- Presenting and discussing the achieved results with internal stakeholders is part of your responsibilities, as well as participating in strategic design and product discussions
- You enjoy collaborating with product software engineers to share knowledge and assist with integrating novel technologies into existing products
- Identifying opportunities for commercialization of novel technologies or methodologies also falls within your scope of work

Your Profile:
- You have a degree or equivalent qualification in computer science and a sound knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- You are familiar with the full stack and you are experienced in creating prototypes involving basic interaction between technologies (e.g. web frontend, web backend, and database)
- Mastery of one or more of the following languages/frameworks: C++, C#, WPF, JavaScript, React/Vue, Python
- You have hands-on experience in a research or software development environment
- Your work style is characterized by a high degree of independence, teamwork, and a willingness to learn quickly
- Very good written and spoken English skills, German skills are an advantage
- Freedom of design and make a difference
- To be part of a competent and dynamic team that celebrates success together

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
