Im Laufe von sechs Jahrzehnten haben wir als eigenständiges Tochterunternehmen des Airbus Konzerns, umfassendes Know-how in der Herstellung von Nutzlastausrüstungen für Kommunikationssatelliten entwickelt und uns als klarer Marktführer in Europa etabliert. Diese sind z.B. extreme Temperaturschwankungen, starke Strahlungsbelastungen, Sonnenstürme oder allein schon die mechanischen Widrigkeiten beim Raketenstart. Das macht deutlich, dass der Anspruch an Forschung, Entwicklung und insbesondere Fertigung allein schon aufgrund der äußerlichen Umstände weit höher ist, als bei „irdischen“ Produkten. Unser Produktangebot umfasst hochzuverlässige Geräte wie Wanderfeldröhrenverstärker, Multiplexer, Schalter und Modulatoren, die, wie auch komplette Systeme, weltweit an alle führenden Satellitenhersteller geliefert werden. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass globale Kommunikation in Zukunft nur mit Einbeziehung des Weltraums realisierbar ist. Daher entwickeln und liefern wir zudem als weltweit erstes Unternehmen Geräte für die optische Breitbandkommunikation im All - unsere Laser Communication Terminals. Damit liegen unsere Kernkompetenzen in der Hochfrequenz- und Nachrichtentechnik, in der Signalverarbeitung, in optischen Kommunikationslösungen und in der Beschaffung von sogenannten EEE Parts.
