As intern you will be part of exiting R&D projects and you could learn how to build service robots from the scratch. You will be part of an experienced team and fully integrated into our daily business. In real customer projects, you will learn what is important to really get robots out to the market and which competencies you would like to further develop in the future. Your own role is located mainly in the area of mechatronics, low-level software development and system integration. As a team, we will push forward together to generate new products and solutions for our customers.

Your Profile
Completed Bachelor in engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering / cybernetics / mechatronics / robotics or a comparable field with a focus on software development and an ongoing Master degree studies
Reliable, solution-oriented working method as well as first experience in the robotics industry, good knowledge of common tools in this domain
A high degree of responsibility, commitment, initiative, independence, and social competence
You are currently enrolled as a student and hold a valid work permit for Germany
You speak fluently german ( C1)
Embedded Software Skills:
Embedded programming (STM)
Schematics and PCB design of customer interactive boards
Sensor development and electronics prototyping
Good knowledge of Python, C ++
Preferred practical experience:
Experience with ROS and with mobile robots
Knowledge of handling safety PLC programming is desirable (e.g. SICK Flexisoft)
CAN-Open knowledge
Ideally you have already worked with Docker Images
Experience in dealing with software development tools (e.g. GitLab)

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. Use the application's questions to address your motivation and show the company why you are still a good fit for the job. If you don't meet many or all of the requirements, the application will not be successful.
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
