Linux Systems Engineer - Embedded Systems / IT / Prototypes (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- You establish, configure, test and maintain operating systems and system management tools on automotive embedded hardware
- You assist in the setup and installation of development tools and deployment of application software on embedded IVI systems for demo and testing purposes
- You create prototypes from ground up which consist of multiple network-connected embedded devices running different operating systems

Your Profile
- You are an expert in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based embedded systems with a proven project track record
- You have advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix based platforms and Android Systems
- You're experienced in using script languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Ruby) and setting up software for automation
- You bring basic Dev-Ops skills (e.g. Jenkins, Docker)
- You have Knowledge of networking technologies (Ethernet, WiFi, TCP/IP) and vasic knowledge of system administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring would be advantageous
- You convince with strong communication and coordination skills (written and verbal)
- You are self-motivated, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision
- You pay attention to details and are highly self-organized
- You are a team player
- You speak English fluently

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate.
