Join our team and immerse yourself in the exciting ecosystem of venture capital with one of the leading European funds. Evaluate market opportunities, meet promising teams and support the due diligence process from screening through to closing. Then work closely with the portfolio companies in building successful businesses. You will be a core part of our small team based in Munich, Germany, and will be exposed to all the inner workings of an experienced venture capital firm. Our focus is investing in dynamic technology companies, and we expect you to be equally excited about the change these companies are affecting.

Your Responsibilities

  • You prioritize investment opportunities & support investment decision making
  • You negotiate with prospective portfolio companies jointly with a Partner
  • You support portfolio companies in their need to ship products, build a customer base, grow and develop strategic positioning
  • You work closely with colleagues, founders, lawyers, accountants, executive search firms and other contacts in our network
  • You extend Target Partners' network by attending events such as conferences and meet-ups of start-up entrepreneurs
  • You perform due diligence, including market, competitive and technology research, with respect to a particular investment or an industry as a whole

  • You have a strong technological & entrepreneurial mindset
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably related to technology; MBA or PhD is a plus
  • You have three+ years work experience, preferably in software development and/or as a founder
  • You ideally have hands-on work experience in early stage technology companies
  • You have effective communication skills and are fluent in German and English
  • You travel frequently, mostly within the German-speaking countries, but also to other European countries or the United States

Yes, this is possible. In your application overview you can view your information and make changes. If you have already been invited to an interview, editing is no longer possible. However, you can still add general information and upload additional documents in your profile.

Personal contact is possible via chat as soon as you have been invited for an interview. Before that, you will receive all important status changes by e-mail. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal Candidate Manager:in from Workwise.

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?

Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. Use the application's questions to address your motivation and show the company why you are still a good fit for the job. If you don't meet many or all of the requirements, the application will not be successful.

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?

Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.

Please take into account the job’s language requirements and make sure the requirements match your skills.
