The Sales Development Representative (m/f/d) is responsible for driving market share, prospecting, and qualifying leads that build the pipeline for the sales organization. It involves actively contacting current customers and an unwavering ability to develop strong and successful relationships with prospects. You will act as a bridge between Marketing and Sales, being conscious of all marketing initiatives while working towards the company sales objectives.
Your Tasks
You support the development, execution and ongoing refinement of an SDR sales process
You define key process steps, tools, resources and other support needed in order to efficiently conduct SDR activities
You manage, process and qualify various forms of marketing generated leads in the DACH region
You proactively prospect and build the sales pipeline by via outbound calling, e-mail/e-marketing, social media etc.
You qualify sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria; you drive leads through the SDR sales process
You coordinate and direct the entire sales cycle for specific opportunities, as agreed with sales management
You execute sales and marketing activities to drive interest in OSIsoft events, products, and services
You attend and support theater events and tradeshows to assist in customer engagements and lead generating activities
You update and maintain lead and opportunity status in MS CRM
You provide activity updates and report to Sales & Marketing Management and other stakeholders as assigned

Your Profile
You have some experience and/or interest in Business Development, Sales Account management, Lead Generation, or similar areas
You have a BSc degree, ideally in Engineering, Business Administration or another relevant field
You have gained hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
You have a track record of achieving sales quotas and understand sales performance metrics
You are familiar with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
You have excellent communication and negotiation skills
You are experienced with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
You are able to deliver engaging presentations
You are fluent in English and German

Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least.
