Your Tasks

  • You use cutting edge technologies to identify disease-causing variants in hereditary diseases
  • You analyze somatic data, whole genome, whole exome and targeted panel sequencing data and support clinical scientists in generating medical diagnostic reports
  • You work with clinicians and scientists to evaluate and enhance existing high throughput sequencing bioinformatics tools (software assessment, installation, configuration and customization)
  • You work with our R&D bioinformatics team to continuously improve diagnostic tools and services

  • You have a doctorate or master degree in Human Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field
  • You bring excellent knowledge of Genetics
  • You have excellent knowledge and application of English, both oral and written, particularly in the area of medical writing
  • You have experience in a molecular diagnostic setting and evaluation of NGS genetic data is a must
  • Proven experience in Somatic Diagnostics and/or Cytogenetics Diagnostics is a plus

Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?

Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least.
