As a medical advisor (m/f/d) you are responsible to ensure comprehensive medical and genetic advice to our customers and internal stakeholders. With passion and attention to detail you do not forget the patient behind every customer request

Your Tasks

You advise our customers (medical professionals) on medical and genetic enquiries and our test portfolio, by phone and E-Mail
You coordinate the necessary internal workflows to process customer requests
You strengthen client relations by being a valued and reliable partner during the diagnostic journey
You are the medical and scientific support within the Customer Support
You document case related information in LIMS system
You ensure that all quality management procedures are followed

Your Profile

You have a MD in medicine, with experience in Human Genetics or PhD with medical experience in genetic research and science
You have a basic understanding of human genetics, modes of inheritance, aspects of applied medical and clinical genetics and common methodologies used in genetic diagnostics
You have first experience in advising with regard to testing strategies of common genetic diseases
You ideally have an expertise in using genetic information databases (e.g. HGMD, ClinVar, OMIM, etc.)
You have a very good knowledge of English (written and oral), other languages are of advantage
You are experienced in customer communication and handling of patient data is of advantage
You are able to work in a timely manner
You show attention to detail, are reliable, cope well with pressure and have a great team spirit

Can other companies see where else I have applied?

No, companies can only see the applications they have received.

Can I also contact the company's contact person directly?

Personal contact is possible via chat as soon as you have been invited for an interview. Before that, you will receive all important status changes by e-mail. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal Candidate Manager:in from Workwise.

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?

Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. Use the application's questions to address your motivation and show the company why you are still a good fit for the job. If you don't meet many or all of the requirements, the application will not be successful.

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?

Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
