Data Privacy Officer - GDPR located in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt (m/f/d)
Function
- Responsible from the end to end GDPR compliance program of Germany as the DPO and provide support as the GDPR expert for all the countries that are directly subject and influenced by GDPR
- Ensuring GDPR compliance program’s smooth execution in all relevant countries
- Conducting product reviews for the new projects and products
- Training organization employees on GDPR compliance requirements
- Conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure GDPR compliance
- Serving as the point of contact between the company and the relevant supervisory authority(ies)
- Maintaining records of all data processing activities conducted by the company
- Responding to data subjects to inform them about how their personal data is being used and what measures the company has put in place to protect their data
- Ensuring that data subjects’ requests to see copies of their personal data or to have their person data erased are fulfilled or responded to, as necessary
- Taking proactive role in promoting and monitoring GDPR compliance,

Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, higher degree is preferable
- Having CIPP-E license is required,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and German,
- Having minimum 5 years of experience hands on privacy law gained at least one of the relevant GDPR countries
- Having solid knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws with a global understanding of the privacy laws of other parts of the world
- Having knowledge of data processing operations in the company’s sector is preferable
- Good understanding of computer security systems,
- Having network oriented perspective and ability to interact with different business functions at all levels, business partner approach to the business needs,
- Thinking broadly about business,
- Understanding needs of the market & customer,
- Having desire to do outstanding jobs,
- Recognizing and understanding emotions of other people,
- Listening different perspectives and showing flexibility,

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
