Your Responsibilities
- You take on the role of one of the main developers for our current and future app products
- You have a say on all levels of our future apps, including user interface, API, database
- You fix crashes & other bugs that our customers report and run the necessary debugging
- You stay up-to-date with the latest app development best practices
- You work with the agile Scrum method together with Developers & Designers
- You work in a newly emerging internal department with support from an international team
- If needed, you answer the questions of other departments regarding the detail behavior of the app

Your Qualifications
- You are enthusiastic about native app development for iOS & iPadOS
- You have already used Swift for at least 2 year in one or more app projects
- You can read code written in Objective-C and if necessary update it or convert it to Swift
- You are experienced in Xcode and know for example how to open a file with a specific name using a keyboard shortcut
- You are are familiar with basic functional programming in Swift and could easily sum or filter a list of numbers
- You speak sufficiently good English to easily express your thoughts to other developers about technical concepts
- You always try to write clear and readable code and do not shy away from complying to lint rules
- A clean git history with concise commit messages is important to you

- Short telephone interview: Get a first personal impression of us in a short telephone interview

- Feedback & homework: You will receive feedback on the interview and an invitation to a trial day, including a small task
- Trial day in our office: You work in a team for half a day, present the results of your work and get to know the team
- Execution of the contract: If your trial day is satisfactory for both parties, you will receive your contract of employment

Can I also contact the company's contact person directly?
Personal contact is possible via chat as soon as you have been invited for an interview. Before that, you will receive all important status changes by e-mail. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal Candidate Manager:in from Workwise.
I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.

Please take into account the job’s language requirements and make sure the requirements match your skills.
