- Sie übernehmen die Java-Implementierung JamaicaVM, die VM-interne Funktionen auf verschiedene zugrunde liegenden Betriebssysteme abbildet
- Sie entwickeln und warten Low-Level-Infrastrukturen wie Echtzeit-Scheduler, Echtzeit-Thread- und Kommunikationsbibliotheken usw.
- Sie verwenden Best Practices für die Programmierung, generieren Javadoc, schreiben Architektur und Design-Dokumentation

Was sollten Sie mitbringen?
- Sie haben einen Master-, Diplom- oder Bachelor-Abschluss in Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Physik oder einem vergleichbaren Fach mit guten Noten abgeschlossen
- Sie beherrschen die englische und deutsche Sprache in Wort und Schrift, um in eine internationalen Team arbeiten zu können
- Sie kennen diverse Echtzeit-Betriebssysteme, z.B. Linux (PREEMPT_RT), QNX, VxWorks, Windows Embedded
- Sie haben Kenntnisse von Betriebssystem-Kernel-Interna, POSIX
- Sie können C/C++ unter Linux oder Windows programmieren
- Sie haben Erfahrung mit Java (wäre ein Pluspunkt)
- Sie haben bereits mit einem Assembler (x86, PowerPC oder ARM) gearbeitet (wäre ein Pluspunkt)
