Internship Backend Development (m/f/d) IT/Testing in Berlin
What you'll do
- You design and implement features in TypeScript/Node.js, following a Test-Driven-Development approach
- You work with a highly-virtualized infrastructure using services like e.g. Heroku, Cloudinary or SendGrid
- You extend and maintain our REST service that serves our web front-end as well as in-hause systems of large car dealership corporations
- You work in an agile environment with other Back-End Engineers as well as Front-End Engineers and QA Engineers to provide incremental improvements of processes, click-paths and user experience on a weekly basis

What you'll need
- Experience with Node.js (version 10 or higher), TypeScript, Express, Test.Driven Development und Git
- Passion for back-end development and making a creative change
- Driven and focused team-player and great communicator
- Knowledge in the fields of automotive and digital innovations
- Preferable: knowledge of lnversify.js, RESTful Services and Mocha/Chai Test-Framework
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s- or Master’s degree
- Able to work independently and analytically
- Proficient writing and speaking in English (and German)
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office

Personal contact is possible via chat as soon as you have been invited for an interview. Before that, you will receive all important status changes by e-mail. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal Candidate Manager:in from Workwise.
I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
