Was erwartet dich?
- Du führst Hardware- und Systemtests (Hands-On) durch
- Du baust Teststände für GPS, LoRaWAN, Strommessung & Solar auf und misst Stromverbrauch & Ladeverhalten
- Du debugst GPS-Empfang, Antennenpositionierung & Housing und testest Solar-Ladepfade unter realen Bedingungen
- Du führst Geofence- und Speaker/Shock-Tests durch und baust Prototypen mechanisch auf
- Du arbeitest mit GPS-Antenne, Solar, Akku und führst 3D-Druck & Rapid Prototyping durch
- Du führst Lötarbeiten & Verkabelungen durch und arbeitest firmware-nah mit unseren LoRaWAN Systemen
- Du testest nahe Firmwarefunktionen (STM32WL) und validierst Konfigurationsparameter, Intervalle, Fence-Definitionen
- Du analysierst Geofencing-Verhalten und schreibst Python-Skripte zur Testautomatisierung
- Du arbeitest mit dem Python-basierten Testsystemen und führst Serial-Parsing von GPS- und Fence-Daten durch
- Du schreibst eigene kleine Tools für Log-Analyse, GPS-Track-Visualisierung, Energieverbrauchsberechnungen, LoRaWAN-Payload Encoding/Decoding (GeoJSON → Downlink)
- Du dokumentierst & analysierst technisch und schreibst kurze Testreports
- Du machst Vorschläge zur Optimierung von Hardware, Firmware & Mechanik und hilfst beim internen Qualitätsprozess mit
- Du arbeitest aktiv in der Entwicklungs-Roadmap mit

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du bist Student der Elektrotechnik, Embedded Systems, Mechatronik, Informatik oder einem ähnlichen Bereich.
- Du besitzt erste Python-Kenntnisse und ein Verständnis für Elektronik-Grundlagen
- Du hast Freude an praktischem Arbeiten: löten, messen, testen und erste Erfahrung mit Microcontrollern
- Du bist fähig, Schaltpläne zu lesen und hast Neugier & Lust auf Problemlösung
- Du hast erste Erfahrung mit LoRaWAN und Kenntnisse zu Solar- und Batterie-PMICs
- Du verfügst über Basiswissen in Firmware (C/C++) und Erfahrung im Aufbau von Test-Automation

About HDI Vier CE GmbH
Wir gründen und entwickeln Unternehmen, die einen positiven Einfluss auf die Umwelt und die Menschen haben. Wir stützen unsere Projekte auf Wissenschaft und Nachhaltigkeit. Zum Beispiel pflanzen wir Millionen von Bäumen in der halbtrockenen Chaco-Region in Paraguay. Die Bäume entziehen der Atmosphäre große Mengen an CO2 und speichern es dauerhaft. Außerdem ernten wir die Bäume und verwenden die Produkte, um schädliche Pestizide durch natürliche Alternativen zu ersetzen. Ein anderes Projekt entwickelt natürliche Kosmetika, um Psoriasis-Patienten zu helfen, deren Bedürfnisse zur Zeit nicht ausreichend berücksichtigt werden. Wir sind privat finanziert und haben es nicht nötig, kurzfristig zu denken, um Investoren zu gefallen. Das Kernteam sitzt in München, aber wir haben auch Projekte und Mitarbeiter in Paraguay, den USA und Marokko.

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
