Werde Teil unseres Social-Business und unterstütze uns im Kampf gegen Lebensmittelverschwendung! In dieser Rolle verantwortest du operative Abläufe, pflegst Beziehungen zu Landwirt:innen, Logistikpartner:innen und Kund:innen. Außerdem unterstützt du aktiv bei der Akquise neuer Restaurants und Kantinen.
Was erwartet dich?
- Du verwaltest deinen Verantwortungsbereich innerhalb unserer operativen Aktivitäten und sorgst für reibungslose Abläufe von der Farm bis zum Tisch
- Du agierst als Hauptansprechperson für landwirtschaftliche Betriebe sowie unsere Logistikpartner:innen und Kund:innen
- Du arbeitest aktiv mit bei der Akquise neuer Partner:innen und Kund:innen
- Du arbeitest eng mit Kolleg:innen aus allen Abteilungen zusammen, um unsere Prozesse und das Erlebnis für Kund:innen zu verbessern

About Querfeld GmbH
Als Social-Business vermarkten wir jede Woche mehrere Tonnen "krummes" Bio-Obst und Gemüse und ermöglichen dadurch die Reduzierung von Lebensmittelverschwendung. Wir beliefern Restaurants und Cateringunternehmen mit frischem Bio-Obst und -Gemüse, welches sonst nicht den Weg auf den Teller gefunden hätte. Insgesamt werden deutschlandweit jedes Jahr 18 Millionen Tonnen Lebensmittel verschwendet - das entspricht einer LKW-Ladung pro Minute. Daran möchten wir etwas ändern und setzen direkt zu Beginn der Wertschöpfungskette an. Denn bis zu 30% einer Ernte wird aktuell aussortiert! Zu groß, zu klein oder zu krumm - wir retten Obst und Gemüse mit Schönheitsfehlern, welches von den Bauern sonst weggeworfen oder erst gar nicht abgeerntet worden würde. Durch das Wegwerfen solcher Lebensmittel geht dabei nicht nur qualitativ hochwertiges Obst und Gemüse verloren. Auch die für die Produktion verbrauchten Ressourcen wie Wasser, CO2 und Arbeitskraft, werden durch den Genuss von gerettetem Obst und Gemüse eingespart. Gerade im Hinblick auf die immer deutlicher werdende Klimakrise ein wichtiger Schritt in Richtung Nachhaltigkeit. Wir wollen die Lebensmittelwertschöpfungskette radikal nachhaltig verändern und hierfür brauchen wir dich!

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. Use the application's questions to address your motivation and show the company why you are still a good fit for the job. If you don't meet many or all of the requirements, the application will not be successful.
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate.
